"On Monday Foxy had her 2nd session with Elesebeth and I can honestly say the results were almost immediately noticeable.
A little background on Foxy and how we came to having massage sessions. Last March Foxy was diagnosed with laminitis for the first time. Following almost 4 months of box rest we were given the go ahead to start ridden work. So far with carefully management I have kept Foxy sound, however roughly a month ago when asking Foxy to canter she pinned her ears back refusing to go forward and put in a buck. Now anyone who knows Foxy knows how unusual that is. Foxy never says no to going faster so I knew she must be feeling uncomfortable somewhere.
I contacted Elesebeth and she got back to me the same day and we booked Foxy in for the same week.
After taking Foxy’s medical history Elesebeth began the treatment. Elesebeth was so calm and gentle with Foxy that she relaxed immediately.
Foxy enjoyed her treatment so much that she even stopped munching on her hay (doesn’t happen often with Foxy)
Afterwards Elesebeth debriefed me on what she had found during the session and all made sense with how Foxy had been behaving. We were given our homework and arranged for Foxy’s next session.
The morning after when I tuned Foxy out she went galloping around her field throwing moves I’ve not seen in years. And the subsequent rides proved just how fabulous she was feeling as she was more than happy to try cantering on the spot when I wouldn’t let her canter down the road.
I cannot rate Elesebeth highly enough. My girl is happy and loving life which is everything thanks to Elesebeth I have my excitable, fun loving mare back and I cannot thank her enough.
We are already looking forward to Foxy’s next session.

Elesebeth worked to release Bea's tight muscles with a gentle but very effective massage treatment. Bea was very relaxed and happy around Elesebeth who has a wonderful connection with her Equine  clients. Elesebeth was knowledgable, gentle, calm and understanding whilst carrying out the massage & was very professional, explaining her findings to me and giving me good aftercare advice. "Last week the lovely Elesebeth from Althea Equine Massage &  Therapy campout to give the highly strung, Freya a Massage Treatment. Usually she gets quite defensive about being touched, and won't tolerate it for long before baring teeth and fidgeting constantly, but with Elesebeth she seemed to really relax and allowed her to carry out a full  body treatment including releasing the muscles in the tops of the legs, which many don't usually work into! Releasing tension into the legs does make sense though, as they put so much strain onto these areas, its actually odd that we only think about treating their backs most of the time! I had never used Althea Equine before, and Freya was simply getting an extra special treatment as I do love my regular Equine Physio, but I would highly recommend. "
