Equine Bodywork

Elesebeth offers a comprehensive approach to equine health and well-being, focusing on muscular health, pain management, and performance improvement.

Services include:

  • Massage Therapy: This hands-on technique helps to improve circulation, relax muscles, and increase flexibility. It can be beneficial for horses of all ages and activity levels.

  • Fascia Release: Fascia is a connective tissue that surrounds muscles. Fascia restrictions can contribute to pain and stiffness. Fascia release techniques help to loosen these restrictions and improve range of motion.

  • Red Light Therapy: This therapy uses red and near-infrared light to promote healing and reduce inflammation. It can be helpful for treating a variety of conditions, such as muscle soreness, arthritis, and wound healing.

  • Heat Therapy: Heat therapy can help to relax muscles, increase circulation, and reduce pain. It can be used in conjunction with massage therapy and is often used in massage treatments.

By combining these different modalities, Elesebeth can create a customised treatment plan to meet the individual needs of each horse. This holistic approach can help horses to feel their best and perform at their peak.

Here are some additional benefits of Elesebeth's services:

  • Improved performance: By addressing muscle soreness and stiffness, massage therapy and other modalities can help horses to move more freely and efficiently.

  • Reduced risk of injury: Tight muscles are more prone to injury. Regular massage therapy can help to keep muscles flexible, which can help to reduce the risk of injury.

  • Improved recovery times: Massage therapy can help to speed up the healing process after an injury.

  • Enhanced well-being: Horses that feel good physically are often happier and more relaxed. Massage therapy can help to promote a sense of well-being in horses.

  • Consultation appointments: These appointments are available online or in person and can provide you with guidance on how to get started with botanical medicine for your horse. Elesebeth will offer recommendations on specific botanicals that may be helpful for your horse's individual needs.
